Mental Health training
This course is 8 hours of in-person training. We will work with you to teach skills of identifying early mental health and substance abuse signs, guide you through how to approach a situation with compassion and understanding, how to build a pre and post crisis plan, how to communicate in a non-confrontational way when having those hard conversations that need to be had. After you have finished this course, you will receive a certificate of becoming a Mental Health first aid responder which is valid for 3 yrs.
Mental Health First Aid is recognized and implemented into the following companies: Delta, Ford Motor Company, IKEA, Kate Spade of New York, Mars, Trident Seafoods to name a few.
Mental Health First Aid Certification teaches people how to recognize mental health challenges and offer confident, helpful support until professional care is available.
Talk Saves Lives is a brief, evidence-informed training that teaches people how to recognize suicide warning signs, start supportive conversations, and connect someone to help.
